2-3.30 PM TALK BY TATSUA MIYAJIMA japanese installation artist at Tate modern - i may go to this - but not free www.tate.org.uk - he is famous for his led numbers [ you can pick up ne -video cam broadcasts of all tate gallery past artists lectures by googling- "tate archived lectures" - you have to have a huge amount of spare time to get through them though]

6pm free talk at JERWOOD space 171 union st se1 oln JERWOOD CONTEMPORARY PAINTERS - TALK BY VANESSA JACKSON -PAINTER - ON paintings in the current show - [ vanessa is a very commited abstract painter and art lecturer at central st martins who was a year or two ahead of me at my old school [Dorking grammar school i graduated there in 1972 ]- which had a very good art dept - which influenced a lot of lifes - mine included - dont think vanessa knows me - as i have been abit shy to introduce myself [ my art career never really took off as hers did[not that i am complaining ] any way sorry to miss this event www.jerwoodvisualarts.org
